Everything you need to know
Answers to your questions about charity places, ballot places, fundraising, race day, and running with Team NaariSamata.
Race registration details
To participate in the 2027 TCS London Marathon, you must register online. The registration window opens in April 2026 and closes in February 2027. Complete your registration before the deadline to confirm your place — missing the deadline means forfeiting your spot.
Understanding ballot places
A ballot place is secured directly through the London Marathon public ballot system. If you already have one, you can choose to run for NaariSamata — there is no minimum fundraising target for ballot runners, just raise as much as you can.
To join Team NaSa with your ballot place, complete our team form on the website. We recommend Enthuse or JustGiving to set up your fundraising page.
Charity place FAQs
Everything you need to know about applying for and running with a NaariSamata charity place.
A charity place is a spot in the TCS London Marathon secured by NaariSamata. Runners who commit to fundraising for the charity can apply for one of these places.
To apply, complete our application form on the website. If successful, you will receive an email confirming your spot along with instructions to complete your registration and pay the registration fee.
Applications remain open until all places are filled. As spaces are extremely limited, we recommend applying as early as possible.
Once your application is successful, you will receive an email with instructions to complete your registration and pay your registration fee.
You will later receive an invite from London Marathon Events to complete a secondary registration online. This is mandatory to confirm your place in the race.
Charity place runners are required to raise a minimum of £2,000 to support our mission.
If you cannot participate in the 2027 event, please contact us as soon as possible.
If you have raised at least 50% of your fundraising target (£1,000), you may be eligible to defer your place to 2028. You will need to pay the registration fee again, but your fundraising will carry forward.
- Deferrals are not guaranteed and depend on available places for 2028
- Charity places can only be deferred once
- If you have raised less than 50%, you will need to reapply
For deferral requests, email londonmarathon2027@naarisamata.org
We recommend using Enthuse (the official fundraising partner) or JustGiving to set up your fundraising page. Both make it easy to share and collect donations online.
