About Us
“Since most sexual abuse begins well before puberty, preventive education, if it is to have any effect at all, should begin early in middle school”
OUR VISION
A safe world for all where equality is the norm not a privilege.
Creating a Safer World: Empowering Women and Children
Imagine hearing the devastating news that your daughter or sister has fallen victim to rape. Would you remain silent and passive? In India alone, a woman was raped every 16 minutes in 2019, highlighting the urgent need for action. It is with these distressing realities in mind that NaariSamatā was born.
NaariSamatā (NaSa) is a charitable organisation dedicated to protecting women and vulnerable children through awareness initiatives. We firmly believe in equipping the younger generation with the knowledge of gender equality and respect for women. NaariSamatā (Na Sa) is a charitable organisation founded to work on the prevention of rape through youth awareness initiatives. It teaches the youth about gender equality and respect for women.
The organisation was officially registered in Britain on 16th June, 2021 under the registration number 1194814.
We passionately campaign for the safety of women, children, the underprivileged, and marginalised communities. Our efforts extend to addressing issues related to gender, caste, and poverty. By educating youth about equality and fostering mutual respect, we strive to create a safer world, combating violence against women.
At the heart of our mission lies the empowerment of women and girls. We aim to provide them with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive in society. Through various programs and initiatives, we work towards building a society that embraces gender equality, where women and children can live without fear.
Join us in our pursuit of a safer world. Together, we can empower women, protect children, and promote a more inclusive and respectful society for all.
Act now to help us make this world a better place.

Testimonial from our charity partner APSA
Although we have collaborated earlier on the NaariSamata proposal, the ongoing Covid pandemic and emergence of the Omicron variant hasn’t allowed us to be in contact much. However, despite this, you have demonstrated such kindness and magnanimity in continuing to think of APSA and helping to make the lives of our young beneficiaries better! Thank you so much – we are privileged to be the recipient of your generosity.
The clothes you have sent are beautiful, and we cannot begin to comprehend the efforts you must have gone through to send them all the way from the UK to India – it is really so kind of you. We see that most of the clothes are brand-new, very colorful and our children were absolutely delighted at receiving them.
Considering the number of clothes we received, we have not distributed all of them at one go. We would like to also use this opportunity to teach our children to appreciate the gifts that they are given and to value the efforts that others put into fundraising them. We have therefore distributed some of the clothes to the children in our Nammane Shelter , adolescent girls in the Suraksha Shelter.[Residential center for trafficed and sexually abused girls.] and some clothes to our working girls center . The remaining clothes will be distributed later this month and next during important festivals, so it makes for a gift given on a special occasion. We will send you the pictures as soon as possible.
