SIFJ is a non-profit organisation comprised of individuals who live in Scotland and have close ties with India- both emotional and cultural. As a group it believes in raising its voice for justice, for equality and for upholding the secular values enshrined within the Indian Constitution. The group members come from diverse backgrounds- students, academics, doctors, dentists, businessmen- all united in a shared belief that, in the face of oppression and injustice, silence is not an option. SIFJ is resolved to be a strong advocate for the underdog, the dispossessed and the silenced- the champions for human rights and equal opportunities for all- regardless of ethnic origin, gender, caste or religious beliefs.
